Privacy

Volet collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no server.

What stays on your phone

Your pieces, the photos you place in them, your initials and your settings are stored on your device, in the app's own storage, and in your device backup if you use one. Deleting the app deletes them from your phone.

Photos

Volet uses the system photo picker, so it only ever receives the photos you choose, never your library. It keeps a resized copy of each one inside the piece you placed it in.

Sharing a piece

When you share a piece, Volet makes a file containing the piece and its photos and hands it to the share sheet. It goes only where you send it.

Purchases

Purchases are made and verified by Apple through the App Store. Volet never sees your payment details or Apple Account.
